Sugro launches TikTok Sample Box initiative

Sugro UK has expanded its sample box line-up with the launch of the TikTok Sample Box.

This will enable suppliers to distribute products to the group’s members, who will work with their database of their key influencers to create engaging TikTok product content and marketing campaigns to promote the products contained within the sample box to end consumers.

Sugro offers a range of sample box initiatives to aid suppliers in promoting their product offering – be it best-sellers, core range or NPD – to the 80 wholesaler members in the group.

The organisation’s Member Sample Box was launched in 2021, followed in 2024 with Retail and Food-to-Go Sample Boxes (whereby sample boxes are distributed to retailers and quick service restaurant (QSR) outlets supplied by a particular member respectively). A Bespoke Sample Box was also introduced – this consists of supplier-branded boxes which exclusively contain their own products, distributed to Sugro’s member base.

Commenting on the latest launch, Sugro UK’s head of commercial & marketing Yulia Petitt said: “By leveraging the power of such a massive platform as Tik Tok, Sugro are excited to offer a new method of facilitating suppliers to grow excitement around, and engagement with, their product ranges – particularly among the younger generation, with whom Tik Tok remains an exceedingly popular and influential platform.”
