Westo Direct to open new Scottish distribution depot

Soft drinks wholesaler Westo Direct is opening a new Scottish distribution depot in Bonnybridge.

The new site will enable Westo Direct to hold stock closer to Scottish customers, improve delivery times, increase availability, and enhance overall service levels.

Sales director Joe Thomas said: “For years, we’ve supplied customers across the UK with competitive pricing, serious stock depth, and deliveries that fuel their businesses.

“Our prices are already competitive but pricing without speed is just noise.

“This move means we’ll be able to serve Scotland better than ever – tighter turnarounds, stronger availability, and the same relentless service standard we’re known for.”

He added: “We don’t expand for vanity. We expand when it improves the customer experience.”

Founded in 2023, Westo Direct is a family-run business and is part of the West-O International group of companies, established in 2018.

The wholesaler began with 10 cases of Coca-Cola and a vision to serve the growing FMCG demand in Kent. Today, it is based in the Midlands and distributes over 1.5 million cans of soft drinks every week to retailers, wholesalers, and partners across the country.

Westo Direct’s turnover in the year ended 31 March 2025 was £1.78 million, with operating profit of £62,490.
