Westo Direct shelves plans to open new Scottish distribution depot

Soft drinks wholesaler Westo Direct has shelved its plans to open a new Scottish distribution depot.

Sales director Joe Thomas said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will no longer be proceeding with the Bonnybridge site as originally planned.

“While this particular location won’t be moving forward, our commitment to expanding our presence across Scotland remains very much intact.

“We are actively exploring alternative opportunities and look forward to re-establishing our plans in the region in due course.”

Founded in 2023, Westo Direct is a family-run business and is part of the West-O International group of companies, established in 2018.

The wholesaler began with 10 cases of Coca-Cola and a vision to serve the growing FMCG demand in Kent. Today, it is based in the Midlands and distributes over 1.5 million cans of soft drinks every week to retailers, wholesalers, and partners across the country.
