Waterside Food Services holds Open Day at new Branston site

Waterside Food Services, an independent, family-run foodservice wholesaler, has held its first Open Day and trade event, bringing together suppliers, customers and industry partners for a day of connection, collaboration and celebration.

Hosted at the wholesaler’s new site in Branston, Staffordshire, the event exceeded expectations, reports the company.

Guests had the opportunity to explore Waterside Food Services’ wide range of products, connect directly with suppliers, and engage in meaningful conversations with the team behind the business.

Customers and suppliers also had the chance to explore the new 32,000 sq ft site, including the specially built cold stores.

“We were absolutely thrilled with the response,” said Chris Morgan, managing director. “From the turnout to the conversations and overall energy on the day, everything came together better than we could have hoped. It was fantastic to see the space come alive and to share this milestone with so many people.”

He added: “The support we received was truly overwhelming. Seeing so many people take an interest in what we do means a great deal to us.”

This Open Day and trade event marks the beginning of a new chapter for Waterside Foods, with plans already underway for future events. “This is just the start,” said Morgan. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received and can’t wait to build on this momentum.”
