Unitas appoints Cheryl Hope as director of trading & development

Unitas Wholesale has appointed Cheryl Hope to the newly-created role of director of trading & development. She will join the group in June.

Hope is currently head of trading (foodservice) at AF Blakemore & Son and she has also previously worked for Bako, Poundland, Iceland, Costcutter and the Co-op.

Reporting to commercial director Aoife Kenny – who also joins Unitas from Blakemore – Hope will be responsible for a number of strategic projects including the development of the group’s new out-of-home trading strategy.
