Unitas appoints Becky Long as trading controller, chilled, fresh & frozen

Unitas has announced the appointment of Rebecca (Becky) Long as its new trading controller for chilled, fresh & frozen.

Long joins the group from AF Blakemore, where she was part of the fresh trading team.

She started working a trading assistant at Blakemore’s in 2016 and had a short break to work at FA Gill as sales administrator in 2018 before returning to the trading team at Blakemore’s. Her most recent role was trading controller.

Long’s appointment strengthens the retail trading team at Unitas, and in the first few weeks she will be building her understanding of the group and getting to know the members and their individual interactions with the chilled, fresh & frozen category.
