Two luxury patés to launch in time for Christmas

Castle MacLellan has announced that a Luxury Orkney Crab & Scottish Salmon Terrine and a Smoked Ham & Cider Paté with Bramley Apple Chutney will join its collection of exquisite, artisanal spreads next month.

The salmon & crab variant is dual layered and topped with a slice of lemon for an elegant touch. The terrine is flavoured with soft cheese, crème fraiche and lemon juice, and is designed to be served on a blini or ‘tattie scone’.

The smoked ham concept features a coarse texture and is made with thickly cut ham, apples and raisins for a rustic feel – ideal for spreading over crusty, artisanal bread.

Both limited-edition Christmas patés (rsp £3) are presented with glazed finishes and can be served straight to the table as a show-stopping starter or as the centrepiece of a party food buffet.
