Turner Price co-founder Trevor Harrison dies

It is with regret that we report the death of Trevor Harrison, director of foodservice wholesaler Turner Price.

Harrison (pictured) founded Turner Price with his business partner David Gould in 1992.

Based in Hull, the family-owned business today serves restaurants, cafés, pubs, hotels, schools, universities, care homes and hospitals throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, North Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland.

A statement from the company, which is a member of Country Range Group, said: “Trevor was at the heart of Turner Price. His passion and enthusiasm knew no limits, always ensuring the company and its employees focused on product quality and exceptional customer service.

“A true salesman and people person, he liked nothing better than being out in the field with the sales team, passing on his extensive industry knowledge, and instilling in the team that foodservice was all about people and relationship building.

“To that end, nearly 30 years on, Turner Price has over 2,500 customers and a loyal set of employees who can only say a huge thank you to Trevor. His impact on our lives has been immense, and we will all miss him dearly.”
