Tracey Redfearn joins Country Range as interim head of marketing
The Country Range Group (CRG) has recruited Tracey Redfearn as head of marketing (interim), starting on 7 October.
Redfearn (pictured) will work alongside the established marketing team, bringing her experience to enhance their ongoing campaigns and drive fresh, innovative strategies.
Redfearn’s 34-year career has spanned several sectors, including retail, wholesale, trading, and brand management. She began her wholesale career in 1990 at Nisa-Today’s, where she spent more than 23 years in different roles from IT coordinator to wholesale trading controller.
The retail and wholesale arms of Nisa-Today’s separated in 2012, and in 2014 Redfearn left Today’s to join Nisa Retail as category management manager, taking on the extra responsibilities of heritage brand manager three years later.
In 2020, after six-and-a-half years with Nisa, Redfearn moved to Unitas, where she was Plan for Profit category controller until switching to head of marketing in July 2023. She left Unitas in the summer of 2024.
Reflecting on her new appointment, Redfearn said: “Joining the leadership team at CRG presents an exciting opportunity to leverage my previous experience while re-engaging with an exciting sector and some familiar member businesses. The group’s performance in 2024 highlights its commitment to delivering enhanced member benefits and driving continued growth. I’m looking forward to being part of these exciting times.”
CRG chief executive Martin Ward added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Tracey to the CRG family. Her extensive experience in retail and wholesale will be invaluable in helping us support our members and achieve our goals into 2025. I look forward to working closely with her as part of our leadership team.”
