Taylors of Harrogate sponsors Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch

Taylors of Harrogate has become the new sponsor of the Channel 4 show, Sunday Brunch.

The sponsorship, which began on 6 April, features ident ads from the Yorkshire-based coffee business throughout the programme using the tagline, ‘From our family to yours’.

Taylors will be showcasing its full range of coffees, with blends including Hot Lava Java and the aptly named Lazy Sunday, in ground, beans and bags featured on-set and during the advertising breaks.

The company is also partnering with Sunday Brunch on a new segment, ‘Coffee and TV’, where guests chat about what’s been on TV that week over a freshly brewed cup of Taylors coffee. And once a month, Sunday Brunch chef host, Simon Rimmer, will highlight the Taylors range as he prepares a bespoke food recipe featuring a different Taylors blend as a main ingredient.

This sponsorship has been launched simultaneously with a wider campaign from the Harrogate coffee business, with Taylors investing in print and digital media with its ‘Great Coffee is in the Family’ campaign to further communicate the family values that guide their consistent commitment to sourcing, roasting and blending the highest quality speciality coffee.

Jack Scott-Paul, Taylors senior brand manager, says: “Sunday Brunch is morning TV that’s good for the soul as well as the palate, so our coffee range is the perfect fit. As a brand, we pride ourselves on making coffee of the highest quality, and to team up with a show that’s so synonymous with great food and drink is a real pleasure for us. We’re thrilled to join the Sunday Brunch ‘family’ as a chosen partner.

“It takes a whole lot of fantastic people to make Taylors coffee, and we want to bring to life the extra care and attention that goes into each cup thanks to our family values and more than a century of experience. Our hope is that viewers will enjoy their Sunday Brunch experience even more along with a Taylors coffee.”
