Sysco appoints Neil Williams as MD of kff and Medina Foodservice

Sysco has announced that Neil Williams will become managing director of both kff and Medina Foodservice.

Formerly regional sales director of sister company Brakes, Williams (pictured) has spent more than 10 years in customer-facing and operational roles with Brakes. In his new post, he replaces Mark Taylor, who has been appointed operations transformation director at Sysco GB.

Kent-based kff and Medina, which operates from depots on the Isle of Wight and Southampton, are subsidiaries of Sysco, and specialise in providing a wide range of food to local pubs, restaurants, schools and other venues serving food. They both have a particular emphasis on supplying products from regional producers in their locations.

Williams commented: “I am very excited by the opportunity to lead these two exceptional businesses. They have fantastic reputations for customer service and product quality. As part of Sysco, the businesses have the backing and investment to continue to grow and develop and I’m looking forward to being part of that.”
