Sugro UK names Nasco as its newest member

Sugro UK has recruited Nasco, increasing its combined buying power to £1.8 billion.

London-based Nasco has been trading for over 20 years, and it has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise five times, the latest in 2022.

The company supplies a range of grocery, confectionery, soft drinks, and toiletry products to a wide customer base within the wholesale and retail sector across the UK. It also has own-brands – London Biscuits, Casa De Campo and Great Grey – which include biscuits, beverages, convenient groceries such as tinned foods, coffee, and a cooking oils.

With its own vehicles, Nasco delivers to customers throughout the entire M25 region, and it also deliver nationwide via third-party hauliers.

Sugro UK, which has a membership of over 90 independent wholesalers, has had 17 years of consecutive growth and is showing year-to-date growth of 31%. Its latest recruit will enable further diversification and enhance the group’s offering to independent retailers.
