Sugro UK appoints Sue Hubber as business development manager

Sugro UK has appointed Sue Hubber as business development manager for the south.

Hubber (pictured) joins the group from First Quality Foods, where she was commercial manager. Before that she worked for Tea Times Trading and FreeDrinks, and she spent 22 years at Britvic covering convenience, forecourts and grocery in national account and business development roles.

Sugro UK head of commercial & marketing Yulia Petitt commented: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Sue to the Sugro family. Sue has an extensive knowledge of the wholesale industry. I am confident that with Sue’s skills and experience in the industry she will be a great asset for the business.”

Petitt added: “Sugro has had 17 consecutive years of growth and it continues its strong performance in 2023, with year-to-date growth of 31% compared to the same period in 2022. Another strong year of growth is predicted by the group in 2023 so it is very exciting to be able to expand our commercial team by appointing the second business development manager, who will be able to focus on our members in the south, while Shruti Senapati, who re-joined the business over three months ago, will continue with her support for the northern-based members.”
