SPAR UK appoints new brand & marketing director
SPAR UK has appointed Suzanne Dover as brand & marketing director following the departure of Michael Lawless.
Dover (pictured) joins the organisation from Hovis, where she was involved in brand development. Prior to this, she held senior marketing positions at Newell Brands, Mizkan Europe, Mission Foods and SMA Nutrition.
Commenting on her appointment, SPAR UK managing director Louise Hoste said: “We are delighted to welcome Suzanne to SPAR. Her breadth of experience and knowledge will help us shape the SPAR brand and our presence in the marketplace, in addition to driving footfall and sales through the selling plan and digital activity.”
Dover will be responsible for the development of the SPAR brand and communications, channel and shopper insight, the promotional strategy and activity plan.
Dover commented: “I am tremendously excited to be joining SPAR and collaborating with the talented team here in order to maintain SPAR’s position as the leader in the convenience channel.”
