SPAR Scotland tradeshow to be biggest yet with 210 suppliers exhibiting

SPAR Scotland wholesaler and retailer CJ Lang & Son is gearing up to host its biggest ever tradeshow on 25 September 2025 in Aviemore, bringing together more than 800 delegates from across the Scottish convenience retail sector.

Themed ‘Inspiring Success’, the event has reached a new milestone – 210 suppliers are taking stands, marking a record number of participants and underlining the event’s status as the largest convenience retail tradeshow in Scotland.

Colin McLean, CEO of SPAR Scotland, said: “We are pleased to report that we have sold out this year’s tradeshow for exhibitors – a clear sign of how significant the event has become in the Scottish convenience calendar. It’s fantastic to welcome a record 210 suppliers and I look forward to hearing their contributions throughout the day as we explore what success looks like for 2026 and beyond. We remain absolutely focused on bringing the best of SPAR to shoppers, suppliers and independent retailers alike.”

In addition to the busy tradeshow floor, CJ Lang colleagues will be inspired by Alf Dunbar, creator of the ‘You Are The Difference’ coaching programme, whose motivational talk draws on real-life retail experience to energise store teams.

Key suppliers will also be presenting at the tradeshow event throughout the day, talking about NPD, category/market insights and more.

The day will conclude with a gala dinner and live entertainment, during which the SPAR Scotland Awards will be presented to outstanding stores, retailers and suppliers.
