SPAR introduces four-pack of Blue Bear energy drink
SPAR UK has introduced a four-pack of its Blue Bear energy drink.
The launch of the new format (4 x 250 ml, rsp £2.50) represents SPAR’s first entry into the take-home energy segment, expanding the reach of its own-label range and tapping into growing consumer demand for multipack options in the energy drinks category.
In the 52 weeks to June 2025, the total energy drinks market saw branded unit sales up 3.9% year on year and private label outperforming brands with 6.7% year-on-year growth (Nielsen).
Myles Mersh, SPAR UK category manager, said: “Launching our first take-home Blue Bear four-pack gives us a real opportunity to grow our share of the energy drinks market. It’s a format that responds directly to shopper demand for great-value, take-home options and one we know will deliver for our retailers.
