Two flavours of Rubicon Spring have been introduced in 330ml sleek cans.
Black Cherry Raspberry and Orange Mango are now available in the new format, as singles (rsp £1.29) and four-can multipacks (rsp £3.49).
Rubicon Spring is a driving force in the flavoured sparkling water category and is currently seven times bigger than the next biggest brand (IRI).
“Taste remains the number one reason for shoppers to choose a soft drink, but drinking occasions are changing,” points out Adrian Troy, marketing director at Barr Soft Drinks. “With more than two billion ‘healthy lunch’ occasions now enjoyed at home (Kantar), customers are increasingly looking for new and exciting flavours and formats to try, so a variety of formats is key.”
The sleek 330ml can is a format that has grown by 40% since 2019 (IRI), and Rubicon Spring’s new sleek can is targeted at retailers looking to drive sales by catering for new drinking occasions, in and out of the home. Impactful PoS to grab shoppers’ attention is available.
Rubicon Spring has brought in more than 600,000 shoppers to the brand since March 2020, with £4 million growth in the last year (Kantar).Published Date: February 21, 2022
