Richard Collins returns to CJ Lang as trading director

CJ Lang & Son’s former trading director Richard Collins has returned to the Dundee-based business in the same role.

Collins (pictured) had left CJ Lang in October to spend more time with his family in Yorkshire.

As a result of his decision to leave the SPAR Scotland wholesaler and retailer, CJ Lang recruited Robbie Moore, previously wholesale buying manager at Morrisons, to head up the trading team. Moore remains in that post, and Collins is back to work on one-off projects.

Commenting on Collins’ return to the business, CEO Colin McLean said: “We’re delighted to welcome Richard Collins back to the executive team.

“Richard will help provide additional commercial support for our business transformation programme of activity, specifically around supply chain, systems development and the company store investment programme.”
