RH Amar celebrates hat-trick of new distribution deals
Fine food distributor RH Amar has secured three new distribution deals.
The company has teamed up with confectionery brand Candy Kittens to distribute its gourmet sweets across impulse, convenience & wholesale, foodservice and online channels. Candy Kittens is now the fastest growing confectionery (gum) brand in the UK, having grown by 114% in the year to July 2018.
The range consists of Sour Watermelon, Blueberry Bliss, Wild Strawberry, Eton Mess, and a recently added variant, Tropical Mango. All come in various formats including pop bags, sharing bags and gift jars. Every recipe is made with real fruit juice, natural colours and flavours, and is gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian-friendly.
RH Amar has also joined forces with Kabuto brand founder Crispin Busk to offer the following noodles to the impulse, convenience and wholesale channels: Chicken Ramen, Miso Ramen, Chilli Chicken Ramen, Beef Pho, Vegetable Laska, Prawn Coconut Curry and Vegetable Katsu. They come in 6 x 85g or 6 x 65g packs.
In the third business arrangement, RH Amar has linked with New World Foods, which is looking to extend distribution for its market-leading Kings, Wild West and Cruga jerky and biltong meat snacking brands in the convenience and foodservice channels.
New World Foods already produces 80% of the jerky in the UK, including the top two leading brands, Kings and Wild West. Cruga is the UK’s second most popular biltong brand after Kings (IRI and New World Foods).
RH Amar’s remit is to grow the brands’ footprint in wholesale and foodservice, as well as to launch additions to the New World range, including Speyside Smokehouse Salmon Jerky, which will be coming soon.
