Q Catering wins sole supply agreement with ICM

Sittingbourne-based Q Catering has been awarded a sole supply agreement with Independent Catering Management (ICM), after 15 years of sharing the business with Brakes.

Steve Clarke: ‘We’re certainly starting the new year with a bang.’

ICM is one of the leading school meal providers in the South East of England. Founded in 1996 with a vision of creating great food using locally sourced ingredients and suppliers, ICM today caters to over 90 schools in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, cooking tens of thousands of meals a day.

In other news, Q Catering has launched a new dedicated telesales service, allowing customers to place an order up to 10pm for next-day delivery.

Steve Clarke, managing director of Q Catering, commented: “We’re certainly starting the new year with a bang.

“We really are invested in each and every one of our customers – they’re at the forefront of every decision we make, and we look forward to working with them in bigger and better ways for the year ahead.

“We hope that the expansion of our telesales team and longer ordering hours will be well received – showing our dedication to continuously improving the customer experience.”

He added: “We’re delighted to be fully partnering with ICM after many successful years. Our values align so closely with ICM, so we’re incredibly proud to be working so closely with them.”

Q Catering offers a large range of quality grocery, chilled, and frozen food products to over 830 businesses across the South East, and is working to an ambitious goal of hitting £20 million turnover before 2030.
