Pricecheck named as company to inspire Britain

Global FMCG wholesaler and distributor Pricecheck has been identified as one of the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ for the third year running.

Pricecheck joint MD Mark Lythe: ‘We have continued to invest in the very best people, training, and technology to help drive Pricecheck forward.’

The report recognises the UK’s fastest growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized businesses. To be selected, businesses had to not only demonstrate positive revenue growth over the past three years, but also outperform their sector peers.

Pricecheck, which offers more than 6,000 branded products to customers in the UK and over 80 countries globally, has this year reached its £100 million turnover milestone, leased an additional warehouse, and expanded its team to 300.

Mark Lythe, joint managing director of Pricecheck, said: “We are very proud to be named as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. It is another milestone on our fantastic growth journey.

“We have continued to invest in the very best people, training, and technology to help drive Pricecheck forward as we strive towards our bold plans for growth over the coming years.”

David Schwimmer, CEO, London Stock Exchange Group, added: “This report highlights the vital role of SMEs in driving economic growth, leading innovation and providing jobs across the UK. In this challenging year for businesses, it is more important than ever to shine a light on these stories of resilience and entrepreneurship. The success of UK SMEs is crucial as we rebuild a post COVID-19 economy, and London Stock Exchange Group is committed to helping growth companies achieve their potential.”
