Parfetts announces Go Local retailer awards
Parfetts announced its annual Go Local retailer awards last night (7 December) at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.
The retailers’ innovation, professionalism and commitment to local communities were celebrated, with judges noting the huge effort they had made through the pandemic to support customers.
The awards included recognition for a retailer for each of Parfetts’ operating regions.

Commenting on the awards, Guy Swindell, joint managing director of Parfetts, said: “Our retailers worked hard throughout the pandemic to support their communities and underline the importance of the convenience sector. The standard of the winners this year is truly impressive, and we are proud to recognise the best of retail in our awards.

The event was hosted by impressionist and comedian Rory Bremner and attracted 450 retailers and suppliers.
Parfetts operates across the North, Midlands and Wales from seven depots and its Go Local fascia group now includes over 850 stores.
