Nestlé promotes Macmillan’s Coffee Morning with wholesaler roadshow

In the run-up to Macmillan Cancer Support’s Coffee Morning on 24 September, Nestlé has been championing the charity’s flagship fundraiser through a nationwide campaign, donating 10p from the sale of every jar of Nescafé Original 95g £2.99 PMP.

In addition, Nestlé Professional is donating £1 to Macmillan with every purchase from the Nescafé Original Professional range from 1-15 September.

Nestlé has also launched a roadshow, with its Nescafé Original van visiting convenience stores and wholesalers nationwide. These include Batleys, Parfetts and a total of 19 Unitas Wholesale member depots throughout August and September. During their visits, the Nescafé team will be giving away cups of Nescafé Original, treats and other goodies in a bid to raise vital funds to ensure that Macmillan can continue to deliver the services needed by people living with cancer.

On 24 August, the Nescafé van made a pit stop at the Unitas Wholesale central office in Doncaster where staff and surrounding businesses could donate, sign up for their own coffee morning and enter a draw for a chance to win a Nescafé Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine.

Macmillan urgently needs the public to get involved in Coffee Morning, at a time when disruption caused by COVID-19 means that demand for the charity’s services is high, while its income is down. The official Macmillan Coffee Morning date is 24 September, but it can be held at any time.
