Bestway Wholesale has announced that Naser Khan has replaced Dawood Pervez as its managing director. Pervez moves to the role of chairman.

The appointments reflect the company’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capability, supporting long-term growth and ensuring the business remains well placed to respond to the evolving needs of independent retailers, caterers, suppliers and colleagues.

The appointments form part of a wider evolution of Bestway Wholesale’s leadership structure, designed to support the scale and complexity of the business as it continues to grow in wholesale, retail, catering and foodservice.
Bestway has also confirmed a number of further senior leadership appointments across its trading, sales, retail and corporate functions.
Dan Lewis has been appointed sales director, with responsibility for leading Bestway Wholesale’s national sales operation and strengthening customer engagement across independent retail and wholesale. He was formerly director of Bestway Vans Direct and Bestpets, and has worked at Bestway for more than eight-and-a-half years.
His appointment reinforces the company’s ambition to create a more connected commercial organisation, aligning sales more closely with trading, retail and marketing to drive sustainable growth.
Zahir Fazaldin has been promoted from property & logistics controller to property & logistics director, with responsibility for Bestway’s estate portfolio, property development, logistics strategy, sustainability and environmental efficiency.
Meanwhile, Adina Bejenaru has been recognised as IT director, continuing to lead Bestway’s technology strategy, digital infrastructure, cyber security, systems integration and business continuity.
Together, these appointments complement the existing executive leadership team, including Kenton Burchell (trading director), Charles Abraham (foodservice director) Jamie Davison (retail director) and Ashar Rehman (operations director).
