‘Mugfuls of Joy’ cash giveaway on Mug Shot to end January blues

Symington’s plans to end the ‘January blues’ with its Mugfuls of Joy campaign for its Mug Shot brand.

The £1.1 million consumer promotion is giving out £50,000 worth of instant cash prizes to consumers in the form of £5, £10 £20 and £50 notes placed in promotional packs of Mug Shot.

The initiative is backed by TV and radio advertising, digital, social media and PR.

“The campaign has a really strong value offer for the consumer with instant cash prizes, and we’re confident it will resonate well with our core target audience,” says Mike Benton, head of snacking business unit.
