Medina Foodservice Trade Show to be held on 5 March

More than 100 local and national food businesses are expected to attend the Medina Foodservice Food Show, which takes place on 5 March at Tapnell Farm, Isle of Wight.

Caterers from across the Isle of Wight will be able to talk to brand owners about what’s new in food and drink, as well as sampling products that will feature on menus across the island this summer and beyond.

The long-standing event, which has run for more than 10 years, sees local suppliers and British brands showcase their produce to the island’s food businesses. They will be joined by Medina chefs who will be preparing a variety of dishes for customers to sample.

As the only foodservice wholesaler based on the Isle of Wight, Medina is ideally placed to understand the challenges and opportunities facing local food businesses. However, while the business is locally focused, it is backed by the world’s largest foodservice supplier, Sysco, which is said to give it a unique perspective on local knowledge and global trends.
