Lomond – The Wholesale Food Co has launched a ‘Welcome Back, Give Back’ campaign, slashing the prices on bestselling products to help customers boost margins as they reopen.
Running until the end of November, the promotion will feature different star products each month alongside Lomond’s core lines. For this month, products include Caterers Kitchen chips, Lomond bacon, Kepak chicken burgers and goujons, and sliced roast chicken.
“It’s been such a terrible few months, we wanted to help our customers get back on their feet as they open their doors once more,” said director Barbara Henderson. “So many of our customers will be operating on much lower volumes so it’s critical that they have a great offer for their customers. By offering them these incredible prices on the products they most want to buy, we’re improving their margins which will help them build for the future.”
Henderson thanked the customers and organisations that have supported Lomond during the COVID-19 crisis: “We are so very grateful to our customers who have continued to trade through such desperately challenging times.
“We’re also incredibly grateful for the support from the Scottish Wholesale Association, which has kept us informed about local level support available and, of course, the support given from the Government via the Job Retention Scheme. We are also grateful to the Scottish Government as we were awarded a PERF grant. And, we must thank our service providers who have worked tirelessly and relentlessly through these challenging months, especially Petit Forestier.”
