KP Snacks has launched McCoy’s Fire Pit, a new range inspired by the trend of open fire or ‘wood fired’ cooking.
There are three variants – Flame Roasted Peri Peri, Flame Smoked Chorizo, and Flame Scorched BBQ Ribs. The launch taps into the fastest growing crisps, snacks & nuts (CSN) flavours of spicy (+7.1%), meaty (+5.8%) and BBQ (+4.5%) (Nielsen).

Flavour is the most important factor in CSN and we are extremely excited to bring something differentiated to the market that capitalises on this trend whilst bringing fun and innovation to the category.”
McCoy’s Fire Pit is available in a 45g grab bag with an rsp of 89p, a 62.5g £1 price-marked pack, and a multipack (rsp £1.70).

With a variety of formats available, the new product range aims to capitalise on the increase in in-home consumption and recent growth of multipack sales across all channels whilst supporting the recovery of profitable single sales in the convenience channel.”
