JJ Foodservice launches driver recruitment campaign

JJ Foodservice is recruiting drivers across its 11 UK branches in anticipation of an increase in demand as restaurants and pubs prepare to reopen.

The roles include ‘family friendly’ positions that fit around term times.

Despite the devastating impact of COVID, JJ Foodservice retained almost every member of its team and grew sales by 1.3% in the past calendar year, while customer numbers increased by 22%.

“With outdoor hospitality opening on 12 April and indoor venues opening from 17 May we anticipate a surge in demand,” said head of operations Sedat Kaan Hendekli. “Having taken on 22% more customers last year, we want to make sure we are ready to respond.”
