JJ Foodservice unveils new range of authentic Japanese ingredients
JJ Foodservice has introduced a new range of authentic Japanese ingredients designed for restaurants, takeaways and caterers.
Building on the success of its Thai and Southeast Asian lines, the new range is designed to offer Japanese businesses everything they need under one roof.
“Great sushi begins with exceptional ingredients,” said Sezer Ozkul, chief product officer at JJ Foodservice. “Our new range brings everything together – sushi-grade fish, award-winning rice, crisp nori, and trusted brands like Kikkoman and Asahi – all under one roof.”
Highlights include certified sushi-grade salmon available in Prime, Premium, and Superior grades. All fillets are boneless – ready for any professional kitchen.
The range also features premium fish such as Black Cod, Yellowfin Tuna & Yellowtail Kingfish, which are ideal for sushi rolls or signature Japanese dishes.
On the ambient side, the line-up includes Rice Majestic Sushi Rice, which recently won a CCM Chefs’ Own-Brand Award, judged by the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Since the launch, sales to Japanese-style restaurants have more than doubled, with a 50% increase in demand.
“Our ability to manage such premium-grade ingredients reflects our commitment to excellence and reliability for professional kitchens,” added Ozkul.
The launch is supported by a dedicated brochure and a digital marketing campaign.
