Additionally, the C&C/wholesaler will use a £2.5 million facility to increase imports from the Far East and support general expansion. It aims to add 10 staff to the payroll.
The company, which also has branches in Nottingham, Peterborough and Derby, last year had a £145 million turnover.
Director Marcus Singh said: “Our customers demand an ever-increasing range of food and drink products from overseas; the funding package puts us in a great position to meet this demand. It also allows us to tap into new markets.
“We plan to work closely with our relationship director at the bank who will be pivotal in helping us grow our geographical footprint.”
