Harvest Fine Foods to host its biggest trade show to date

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Harvest Fine Foods is preparing to host its biggest trade show to date, bringing together more than 90 suppliers and welcoming over 300 customers from across the South.

The Food Show by Harvest takes place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, Southampton, on 22 September.

The show will present hundreds of products, from new launches and emerging trends to best-sellers and menu solutions. Visitors can sample products, meet industry experts and discover ideas to help their businesses respond to a changing foodservice market.

A key feature is the expanded Local Producer Zone, where around 15 suppliers  will showcase the region’s quality and diversity, reflecting Harvest Fine Foods’ commitment to supporting local businesses and championing regional produce.

Phil Clark, business development chef at Harvest, said: “We’re all about bringing suppliers and customers together under one roof. It gives chefs and caterers the opportunity to see, taste and experience the latest products while gaining inspiration that can help their businesses thrive.

“As foodservice continues to evolve, it’s more important than ever that our customers stay ahead of industry trends, and this event is a fantastic way of making that happen. At the same time, we’re incredibly proud to provide a platform for local producers, helping showcase the fantastic businesses that make our region so unique.”

Harvest Fine Foods also welcomes students from local catering colleges to attend the event. The company maintains that giving future chefs the opportunity to meet leading suppliers, experience the latest products and gain first-hand insight into the foodservice industry helps inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals.
