South Lincs Foodservice appoints Victor Karpozis as managing director
South Lincs Foodservice – a member of Caterfood Buying Group – has appointed Victor Karpozis as managing director.

Victor Karpozis
He replaces Simon Davison, who has led the business for the past six years and moves into the new role of director of operations at Caterfood Buying Group, supporting operational improvement and sharing best practice across its member businesses.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the foodservice industry, Karpozis brings knowledge of commercial leadership, business development and team management.
Karpozis commented: “South Lincs Foodservice has been built on strong relationships and exceptional people who have a genuine commitment to customers. The business has a really strong foundation, with talented people and plenty of opportunities to develop further.
“My priority is to continue to bring all departments together behind a clear strategy and a shared vision for success. By strengthening customer engagement, developing sales opportunities and building on our own-brand offering, we can continue to grow the business while delivering the service our customers expect.”
A key focus for Karpozis will be building on the strong sales culture in the business, bringing teams together to identify opportunities, deepen customer relationships and improve commercial performance.
He believes that South Lincs Foodservice’s combination of local knowledge, independent decision-making and the backing of a larger buying group provides a strong platform for growth.
“Strong relationships are the foundation of growth,” he said. “We want to build on the reputation South Lincs has established over many years, while making the most of the wider product range, support and opportunities available through CFBG. That gives us a great platform to respond to customer needs and take the business forward.”

Simon Davison
Davison has held a range of operational and leadership roles over the past 20 years, and his broad experience will help him support Caterfood Buying Group members in addressing challenges, improving efficiency and sharing best practice.
Areas of focus will include transport efficiency and compliance, warehouse productivity, health and safety, stock management, customer service and cost control.
He moves into his new central role after 12 years with the group, including six years with Bidfood across three sites before joining South Lincs Foodservice, where he has spent the past six years, most recently as managing director.
Davison said: “The foodservice sector is becoming increasingly complex, with rising costs, evolving regulatory requirements and ever-higher customer expectations. There is a real opportunity to help members strengthen their operations, share expertise and achieve sustainable improvements.
“My approach is collaborative rather than directive. Every member business has its own culture, structure and way of working, and the best solutions are developed alongside the people who understand the business and operate it every day.”
