Global Brands launches new on-trend Flare flavour

Global Brands increased its independent-exclusive Flare range of ready-to-serve cocktails.

A new Passion Fruit Martini variant joins the existing line-up of Mojito, Cosmo and On The Beach variants of lightly sparkling cocktails in a £1.29 price-marked 250ml can.

A brand redesign features across the four-strong range, with large, bold fonts and vibrant colours to easily identify each flavour.

“Passion fruit really is the on-trend flavour and is the No.1 on-trade cocktail serve, according to CGA,” says Christian Sarginson, brand controller.

“The new Passion Fruit Martini flavour will enable retailers to drive further ready-to-serve cocktail growth in stores.”

Volume sales of the Flare range have grown by 32%, outperforming the £48.4 million canned cocktail category (Nielsen).

“This is a fast-moving, very trend-led category,” continues Sarginson. “Consumers want more flavours and, more importantly, they want authentic-tasting drinks. We’ve continued to invest in product innovation and developing the range to support retailers in meeting consumer demand.”
