Fresh Direct introduces Chef’s Choice Salad Potatoes and Baking Potatoes

Building on the successful launch of its Chef’s Choice Chipping & Roasting Potato, Fresh Direct – part of Sysco – has introduced Chef’s Choice Salad Potatoes and Chef’s Choice Baking Potatoes.

Selected from premium British varieties, the Salad Potatoes have smooth, waxy skin while the Baking Potatoes are generously sized with a fluffy interior.

This range has been developed in collaboration with producer Linwood Crops to deliver taste, consistency and quality. After harvest, Linwood ensures strict store conditioning management, and each batch undergoes checks for starch and sugar levels and dry matter content. In addition, a sample from every load is cooked to guarantee perfect performance for chipping, roasting, and baking.
