Frank Fraser fills new foodservice role at Bestway

Bestway Wholesale has promoted Frank Fraser to the new post of head of sales – foodservice.

Fraser (pictured) has held several senior roles within Bestway and Batleys, most recently sales controller for Scotland. He reports to Tony Holmes, sales director for foodservice and retail.

Along with sales to the independent restaurant, pub, café and hotel sectors, the company is focusing on developing contract business with pub groups, local authorities, education providers and care homes.

Fraser said: “Bestway has a fantastic opportunity to grow the foodservice side of the business, offering customers a package in terms of both products and service which more than matches that of our competitors.

“We have a compelling foodservice offer, including our award-winning Essentially Catering brand, and we see strong potential to further expand sales in foodservice.”

Holmes commented: “Frank has extensive knowledge of the cash & carry and delivered wholesale markets, and is skilled in account management. His appointment is a key element of our continued investment in the growth of our foodservice business.”
