Former Sanderson executives team up with STL

Two leading executives in the wholesale IT solutions sector have thrown their weight behind STL Technology Solutions.

Jackie Fieldhouse (previously known as Jackie Taylor), sales director at Sanderson before it was acquired by Aptean in September 2019, and Martin Beatty, who was technical director of Sanderson’s wholesale business, have both aligned with STL.

Fieldhouse explained her decision: “Having taken a year out of the industry for the first time in 30 years, I’ve had the luxury of being able to objectively review the industry as it has moved through a period of unprecedented change.

“I’ve seen my former customers bombarded by extraordinary – and often unpredictable – challenges, but not always able to access the quality of support and technology they need.  I’ve also seen the truth in the adage that ‘when the going gets tough, the tough get going’. And the toughest of IT providers today is undoubtedly STL.

“Over the last couple of years, whilst others have divested interests, it has ploughed energy and resources into the wholesale sector. It has created a robust corporate leadership and strategy, developed an impressive next-generation merchandise management platform in STL MMS Evo, and introduced new service initiatives. All this adds up to an extremely compelling proposition for users of SWORDS and other systems at the end of their life cycle.”
