Eastern European specialist Dimark installs new EPoS system

Eastern European food and drink cash & carry/wholesaler Dimark has installed a Kudos CounterPoint EPoS system that integrates with its SAGE 200 accountancy package.

A spokesman for the Edmonton, north London, operator said that the replacement could also be customised to meet future requirements.

He declined to give Dimark’s turnover but said that the company is growing at a rate of 15% year on year.

The new system enables the operator to easily change and scan products, and there is no limit to the number of barcodes that can be added.

Dimark’s 20,000 sq ft building, with a staff of 30, offers a C&C service and delivery – using six vehicles – to as far afield as Cardiff, Bristol and Nottingham.

While it imports from many Eastern European regions, Poland is its major territory; Dimark claims to be the largest UK wholesaler of products from that country.
