Harvest Fine Foods, which delivers across Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex, has joined Country Range Group.

Managing director of the wholesaler, based in Totton (near Southampton), Richard Strongman said: “The Country Range portfolio offers an extensive selection of ambient, chilled and frozen lines with affordable pricing. More importantly, they are quality products, tested to the highest standards. This is a brand we can trust and which will sit well within our current range.”

Coral Rose, managing director of the Accrington-based group, described Harvest Fine Foods as “highly successful, with great integrity and professionalism”.

Harvest was formed in 1995, trading from a 22,000 sq ft site spread over six units in Christchurch, Dorset. Last year the wholesaler moved to its present 56,000 sq ft location, where it has a staff of 120 and uses 30 vehicles to make deliveries.

Turnover has increased from £11.5 million last year to a projected £14.5 million in 2016, the major sources of income being pubs, hotels and schools.
