Country Range adds lemon drizzle to cake collection

Country Range has added Lemon Drizzle Cake to its range.

The sponge cake is baked with lemon curd and soaked with a lemon wash, layered with lemon buttercream and finished with sugar pearls.

Described as light, airy, moist and bursting with zesty, zingy lemon, the cake comes frozen, provides 14 portions and just needs to be thawed before serving.

Country Range Group marketing manager Rachel Porter said: “Lemons are a classic symbol of summer and this masterpiece is truly summer in a cake. Elegant and delicious, it’s a classic on any cake board, not just in summer but all year round. It’s ideal for caterers who are not able to bake cakes from scratch each day but still want to offer eye-catching and tasty treats for their guests.”

The launch follows the roll-out of a brand refresh across the Country Range own-brand portfolio, including a new logo and branding, new packaging designs, and the introduction of a new premium tier of products under the Country Range Signature brand.
