Country Range adds Japanese recipes to own-brand range

Country Range has bolstered its product portfolio with a Katsu Curry Cooking Sauce and Panko Breadcrumbs.

Available in a 2.3kg tub, the new Katsu Curry Sauce is a sweeter, Japanese-style curry sauce suitable for vegans. Country Range Panko Breadcrumbs come in 1kg and 10kg packs.

Country Range says that the new duo are fantastic when used to make the classic Japanese Chicken Katsu Curry, where chicken is coated and fried in panko breadcrumbs before being served with curry sauce and rice. For a vegan option, chefs can replace the chicken with a variety of vegetables or meat-free alternatives.

Our new Katsu Curry Sauce recipe has been specially developed to ensure it is packed with the flavours and spice profile of the Japanese original. As well as being ready to use, it’s a versatile ingredient to use across a whole host of recipes, such as a base for fragrant coconut curries or as a delicious filling for chicken Kyivs and rice balls, coated in our new Panko Breadcrumbs.”
