Corona Tropical RTD rolled out into the on-trade and off-trade

Budweiser Brewing Group has announced the the nationwide roll-out of Corona Tropical, an alcoholic sparkling water made with real fruit juice.

The product is available in single and 8 x 330ml formats in grocery and convenience channels, and in a single 330ml can in the on-trade.

Corona Tropical comes in three flavours: Guava & Lime, Raspberry & Lemon and Grapefruit & Lemongrass. It contains 96 calories and 2.4g of sugar per 330ml can.

The alcoholic sparkling water category is forecasted to be worth £17 million by the end of 2022, equating to 193% growth.

Liz Hemus, Corona Tropical marketing manager, says: “Corona is a brand born from the tropics; we encourage consumers around the world to disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature.

“We’re excited to offer a new Corona beverage to those who love the brand but are looking for options outside of beer. A nationwide marketing campaign is supporting the launch. This includes installing a real fruit billboard in central London, plus digital and out-of-home media to showcase the refreshment credentials of the brand.
