Co-op Wholesale announces deal with 12 Sewell On The Go c-stores

Co-op Wholesale is accelerating its expansion in the forecourt convenience sector with a new partnership with Sewell On The Go.

Under a five-year agreement, Co-op Wholesale will become the full supply partner for 12 Sewell On The Go convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Sewell On The Go will retain its familiar fascia and local identity, while benefiting from an enhanced range including the introduction of Co-op’s own-brand food-for-now and food-for-later products.

Sewell On The Go, the retail arm of Sewell Group, operates multiple fuel stations and convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire, serving over four million customers annually.

This partnership signals a leap forward in Co-op Wholesale’s ambition to bring its convenience model to more communities across the UK, by teaming up with regional operators who share its values and vision.

In other news, Co-op Wholesale has added Express Cuisine’s food-to-go range to its offering. The range comprises a selection of wraps, sub rolls and sandwiches that are fully certified by both the Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) and the Halal Food Authority (HFA).

Included in the range are Chapli Kebab Wrap, Chicken Tikka Wrap, Falafel with Lemon & Chilli Mayo Wrap, Chicken Tikka Sandwich, and Tuna Mayonnaise Crunch Sandwich.
