Candy Hero signs up to NBC

Bradford-based wholesaler Candy Hero has joined National Buying Consortium (NBC).

Established in 2008 by two brothers with a mission to sell imported caffeinated mints and chewing gum, Candy Hero is now a wholesale food & drink distributor with warehouses in the UK, the Netherlands and the USA.

It offers a range of more than 20,000 products to customers nationally and internationally, delivering direct to store and warehouse by carton, pallet or truck-load. The range covers confectionery, snacks, biscuits, soft drinks, hot beverages, biscuits, and home baking and breakfast products.

The company also continues to sell to the public. Its retail webshop is now a bulk shopping experience, where products are sold by the case.

Commenting on its new member, NBC director Gary Lunt said: “We welcome Candy Hero to the group and thank Cath [Hodgson, marketing director] and Frank [Dillon, co-founder] for choosing NBC to partner with them.”
