Brakes offers 10% cashback deal as part of Christmas support package

Brakes has launched a support package to help foodservice operators get the most out of Christmas trading and manage costs.

Headlining the campaign is a 10% cashback offer for orders placed online. This is running until 31 December on key categories including all meat and poultry, Christmas tableware, wine and Champagne. There are also various cashback offers on favourite branded products.

The cashback deals will be supplemented by other promotions, including the return of Brakes’ popular ‘free case of vodka’ promotion on centre-of-plate products.

Customers can choose to reward themselves, their business or give back to charities, including Hospitality Action, Hospitality Health, Springboard, Alzheimer’s UK, UNICEF and Meals & More.

The wholesaler has also unveiled some new Christmas products, from desserts like Chantilly Individual Belgian Chocolate & Caramel Pyramid (pictured) to starters like Scottish Smoked Salmon & Prosecco Parfait.

The new products join a mix of traditional Christmas favourites, on-trend twists and plant-based alternatives, helping fooodservice operators to offer a festive menu solution for every customer taste.

Supporting the new products are a range of insight-based menu suggestions, including step-by-step recipe cards with allergen information, all of which have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Paul Nieduszynski, chief commercial officer for Sysco GB, said: “We have almost 1,000 products in our Christmas range, with some fantastic new products that will enhance any service. We recognise that this year, our Christmas offer needs to be about more than just range. That’s why we’ve introduced a fantastic online cashback offer, providing some much-needed support.”
