Brakes introduces exclusive range of gelatos and sorbettos

Brakes has revamped its premium ice-cream range with the introduction of an exclusive selection of gelatos and sorbettos from Hackney Gelato and Jude’s.

The new gelatos from Hackney Gelato are produced using traditional methods, where they are churned slowly to keep the ice and air out for a smoother texture. The gelato is made with a higher ratio of milk to cream, so it contains less fat than most ice creams.

There are 13 varieties in a 4.5-litre format, including 2 Star Great Taste winners Raspberry and Alphonso Mango Sorbettos and Pistachio and Chocolate & Roasted Hazelnut Gelatos. Also available is Sea Salted Caramel Gelato – winner of the 3 Star Award.

Brakes has also added a new 4.75-litre Napoli range from Jude’s. The new flavours include Bubblegum, naturally coloured with spirulina, and Speculoos Caramel Biscuit.
