Booker extends and enhances Food To Share range
Booker has added eight new products to its Food To Share range. It has also enhanced four existing lines.
The new products are Salt & Vinegar Chip Shop Bites, Sweet Chilli Fish Tenders, Bao Bun Prawn Toast (pictured), Hoisin Duck Bao Buns, Laksa Veg Bao Buns, Balti and Korma Naan Bites, and a gluten-free Indian Selection.
The enhanced products are Vegetable Samosas, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and gluten-free Onion Bhajis and Mac n Cheese Bites.
Within the Food To Share range, there are now 30 frozen products, which are designed to resonate with current dining trends for menu variety, group grazing and sharing boards. All lines come under Booker’s Chef’s Menu brand.
Karen Poole, head of own brand at Booker, said: “Operators are adapting to shifts in consumer demand, eating habits, flavour preferences as well as cost challenges, so these eight new additions to our Food To Share range have been designed to support the industry right now.
“It is about giving our customers even more on-trend products that maintain profitability per visit, offer flexible portion formats and pricing structures, and deliver outstanding dining experiences for guests time and time again.
“We know operators value products that bring consistency, versatility and speed of execution, allowing them to keep quality high, reduce wastage and maintain operational efficiencies across busy kitchens.”
She added: “The full Food To Share range will appeal to a wide audience including meat-free and gluten-free diners, those looking for smaller portions and those wanting to experiment with global flavours.
“Easy to store and prepare, the products are simple to assemble and also suit buffet style dining, larger groups, corporate bookings, and can work as short-run specials or bar snacks – essential for festive gatherings and pub parties as the Christmas season begins.”
