Bestway Wholesale holds ‘thank you’ events for suppliers and customers

In recognition of the contribution that suppliers have made over the past year working in partnership with Bestway’s trading teams, the company recently held a ‘Thank You Lunch’ at its head office in Park Royal, London.

Hosted by directors of the business, the event included the wholesaler’s inaugural ‘Thank You Supplier Awards’ to recognise the best talent and rising stars in the industry.

These key individuals were recognised for having gone above and beyond the call of duty to excel in their roles and in the creation of new and exciting ways of working with Bestway over the past year.

The winners were:

Key Account Manager of the Year:   Stuart Griggs, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

Special Achievers Award: Crispin Newborough, KP Snacks

Marketing Professional of the Year: Amy Hall and Kate Frenzel, both Diageo

Newcomer of the Year: Joe Liquorish, Nestlé Grocery

Data & Insight Star of the Year: Keir O’Sullivan, Heineken

Digital Innovator of the Year: Kevin Rhodes, PepsiCo

Group trading director Kenton Burchell commented: “It gave me great pleasure to pay tribute to individuals who have exceeded our expectations with their contribution to Bestway.

The ‘Thank You Lunch’ followed ‘Thank You’ events in Bestway depots for  retail customers, running over a two-week period and featuring value deals from 16 big-brand suppliers.
