Bestway Wholesale has appointed Josie Swift as head of buying for the foodservice division.
Swift (pictured) spent four-and-a-half years at Harlech Foodservice, latterly as head of purchasing, before moving to Iceland Foods in her most recent role of category buying manager. Earlier on in her career, she worked for Greene King, Star Pubs & Bars and Spirit Pub Company.
Swift commented: “Hitting this level has been a huge personal goal of mine, and stepping into this role is a real career peak. I’m so proud to take a seat at the leadership table and champion female leadership in wholesale!
“There is certainly a lot to learn as I settle in, but I am absolutely buzzing to take it all on and drive some serious momentum in the category.”
