Bestway Group has selected The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award as its partner for the company’s Royal Ascot charity race day on 17 June.

Founded 60 years ago by HRH Prince Philip, the charity is committed to providing people aged 14-24 with the opportunity to develop skills and prepare them for life and employment.

Bestway chief executive Zameer Choudrey CBE said: “Young people are our future leaders – businessmen, doctors, nurses and teachers.

“In order for them to be the best they can, we have to instil in them a sense of purpose, responsibility, accountability and resilience in their formative years.
